About the job:
You will be a subject matter expert in your technology tower. Responsibilities include delivering infrastructure improvement programmes with budgets up to £1 million, liaising with stakeholders via governance forums, and driving transformation to enhance agility and customer focus.
Key Accountabilities:
You will shape and deliver technology-enabled business transformation from concept to deployment, define and communicate strategic roadmaps, and own all IT elements of business cases within your portfolio. Building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders and leading technology initiatives aligned with business strategies are essential.
You will promote collaborative practices across functions and suppliers, proactively assess complex ideas, and identify benefits and solutions. Leading high-performing teams, managing resources, setting objectives, and providing feedback are also key. You will coordinate activities, manage risks, and oversee interdependent projects, ensuring delivery within budget and realization of benefits.
Our core tech stack includes UNIX, LINUX, Solaris, Clustering technologies (Power HA, VCS), Database technologies (Oracle DB, DB2 LUW), NIM, VIOS, API/Middleware, and monitoring tools (NMON, Nagios, Solarwinds, Topas, ServiceNow).
