Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Maintenance Workforce HSE Advisor to provide advice and support to the Infrastructure Maintenance Delivery team on all workforce health, safety, and environmental issues. Promote a positive cultural and behavioural change in all aspects of workforce health, safety, and environmental management.

Key Accountabilities:
  1. Provide support, coaching, and guidance to the Infrastructure Maintenance Delivery team on workforce health, safety, and environmental issues.
  2. Assist in collating workforce health, safety, and environmental data.
  3. Monitor and analyze data for trends, produce reports, and recommend corrective actions.
  4. Identify key risks and suggest control measures.
  5. Support the implementation of programs to improve health, safety, and environmental controls.
  6. Facilitate relationships with safety representatives and external safety and environmental bodies.
  7. Guide investigations and reporting of accidents and incidents.
  8. Arrange for safety and environmental audits.
  9. Coordinate safety tours and staff surveillance.
  10. Review safe work plans periodically and address issues.
  11. Contribute to the development of the team in health, safety, and environmental matters.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance processes
  • Understanding of standards and procedures
  • Knowledge of environmental management systems
  • Experience in railway environments
