Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) - United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is preferred.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
