Job description

The infrastructure engineer will be responsible for the design, build, deployment, and maintenance of the Network and Security infrastructure for Soho House and its associated fascia’s (Soho Restaurants, Soho Works, Retail, The Ned, Scorpios, The Line, The Saguaro, and Soho House & Co overall). This role will be approximately 70% project-focused and 30% business-as-usual/support-focused.

The role is based at the London Support Office and remotely, reporting directly to the Group Head of Infrastructure. The engineer will work to ensure a high security and infrastructure posture across all Soho House & Co entities, properties, and systems.

Main Duties
  • Ensure successful delivery of network infrastructure projects, on time and within budget, in collaboration with Network Infrastructure Engineers and Contractors.
  • Document and communicate progress of all network infrastructure projects to stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing network bill of materials and scope for new openings and refurbishments.
  • Configure and maintain networks (Netskope, Palo Alto, Aruba EdgeConnect, HPE/Aruba Central, Ruckus, Cisco).
  • Carry out network projects/upgrades and new opening projects globally, on-site or remotely.
  • Document new and existing network infrastructure.
  • Support handover of new infrastructure to in-house teams and third-party providers.
  • Implement and manage network security projects, including deploying new security tools without disrupting operations.
  • Research, test, procure, and implement new technologies to meet business needs.
  • Manage administration tasks, including change requests and support tickets.
  • Perform due diligence on third-party work to ensure infrastructure and security compliance.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities across networks.
  • Coordinate vulnerability remediation with third parties.
  • Conduct periodic on-site reviews of network infrastructure.
What We Are Looking For
  • Extensive technical experience in Layer 3/Layer 7/SASE networking.
  • Vendor skills include Netskope, Palo Alto, Aruba EdgeConnect, Aruba Central, HPE/Aruba, Cisco, Ruckus, Microsoft Windows Server, Azure Networking.
  • Desired experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2012-2022), SQL, IIS, Active Directory, PowerShell, Office365, Hypervisors (RHEL KVM, VMWare ESXi).
Additional Technical Skills
  • Strong security design principles.
  • Experience with large-scale MPLS/VPLS/SD-WAN networks, static and dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP).
  • Experience with data centers across multiple regions.
  • Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, and identity management (SSO, SCIM, OATH, SAML).
  • Ability to follow change control processes, work under pressure, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
