JOB DESCRIPTION
Effectively runs and develops the IT network and infrastructure services in support of the strategic and operational business requirements. To ensure on a day-to-day basis the IT requirements of the Company are efficiently and effectively met and all IT systems are fully functional at all times.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor & maintain the security of the Company's infrastructure and IT resources.
- Monitor & maintain the Company's infrastructure and IT resources ensuring agreed SLA's are met. This includes network equipment and services, servers, network storage devices, backup devices, network communications equipment.
- Aid in the delivery of robust, efficient and professional IT solutions to the business.
- Create and maintain documentation of systems, maps, procedures, user and technical information.
- Define and maintain priorities for maintenance and analysis of entire infrastructure systems inclusive of LANs, WANs, and wireless implementations.
- Develop, execute and oversee procedures, policies and related training plans for infrastructure administration.
- Maintain IT Disaster Recovery Strategy for the organization.
- Define software and hardware standards in collaboration with stakeholders and owners.
- Report and prepare strategies to maintain hardware/software infrastructure.
- Ensure the IT Asset Management Inventory and associated documentation is kept up-to-date and current.
- Liaise with outsourcers, vendors and contractors for infrastructure-specific products and services.
- Actively learn and develop to stay up to date with developments in areas of expertise and to meet the changing needs of the job.
- Encourage and support the development of other members of the team and the organization.
- Ensure compliance with the company's policies, procedures and contract of employment.
- Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required, and are commensurate with the grade of the job, in furtherance of the objectives of the company.

Skills/Experience:
- Strong customer service experience.
- 5+ years specializing in Microsoft Server infrastructure operational support.
- Strong skills in administration of on-premises and cloud platforms, specifically: Active Directory-based Hybrid network including: DFS, DHCP, DNS, Exchange Server, SQL Server, IIS, Microsoft 365 including: Teams, SharePoint, Entra Endpoint Manager / Intune, Security and Compliance Centres.
- Excellent troubleshooting & diagnostic skills, including the ability to work well under pressure and follow investigations through to logical conclusions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft best practices for security configurations (policies including certificate management).
- Proven track record of migrations, both on-premises and to the cloud.
- VMware Cluster management, VMware Horizon management, Server Patching and Intune patch management.
- Backup and recovery Solutions, Experienced with SANs.
- Experience of working with networking, servers, software application management and support.
- Cisco Meraki administration.
- Change management - adhering to correct procedures to ensure that any changes are carried out successfully.
- Problem management & incident management - liaising with relevant parties to achieve a resolution.
