Job summary

Lorien is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and support critical infrastructure platforms from London, office-based. The role involves modernising legacy systems, migrating to containerised and cloud environments, and driving automation while ensuring security and high availability.

You will work across OpenShift/Kubernetes, Linux/Windows, and networking domains, collaborating with cyber specialists and vendors to deliver scalable, future-proof infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise infrastructure or network engineering environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team.
• Knowledge of infrastructure operations, support and administration.
• Experience delivering technical solutions in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Ensure availability, security and reliability of critical systems.
• Support infrastructure modernisation and migration programmes.
• Automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, known errors and workarounds.
