Job summary
Leidos in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise Windows Server and RedHat Linux environments. You will manage VMware virtualised estates, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, storage (NetApp/Dell), and Active Directory in on-prem setups.
The role requires ITIL service delivery and SAFE Agile delivery experience, with ability to handle multiple priorities. You will collaborate with customers and colleagues to deploy, test and support infrastructure
Qualifications
- Enterprise Windows Server experience with active directory and on-prem deployments.
- RedHat Linux administration and general Linux support experience.
- VMware virtualised estates management and troubleshooting in data-centre environments.
- Deployment and support of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure.
- Storage troubleshooting (NetApp & Dell) and data protection with Veeam.
- Active Directory management in on-prem environments.
- Experience building customer desktops with legacy applications and packaging deployments.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled LAN/WAN infrastructure support and engineering
- Deliver ITIL-aligned technical services and agile change delivery
- Manage and troubleshoot virtualised estates and storage environments
- Lead desktop build development and application packaging for customers
- Coordinate with stakeholders to meet project deadlines and service levels
