Responsibilities

• Integrate and support third‑party vendor backup and data protection solutions
• Develop in‑house applications and tooling (testing, capacity management, automation)
• Collaborate with global teams to capture requirements and deliver solutions
• Advise and communicate technical approaches to stakeholders of differing technical backgrounds
• Troubleshoot issues alongside operations and engineering colleagues
• Contribute actively to team meetings and a continuous‑improvement culture

Required skills & experience

• Strong understanding of on‑premise infrastructure: storage, networking and operating systems
• Experience with backup and data protection platforms
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills; able to make sound, timely decisions
• Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a global, team‑oriented environment

Desirable (nice to have)

• Proficiency in, or eagerness to learn, a high‑level programming language
• Systems administration experience (UNIX and/or Windows Server)
