A leading consultancy in IT is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support projects focused on the acquisition and integration of new IT systems. You will work on technical implementations, migrations, and compliance with infrastructure standards. Candidates should have a strong background in Microsoft 365 migrations and Azure. This role offers a competitive rate of £370 per day with hybrid work flexibility.

Infrastructure Engineer - £370PD (Outside IR35) - Hybrid

I am currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with good knowledge across M365, Windows Servers, Azure and Networks to join a business to support on projects related to acquisition and integration of new IT Systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in technical implementations, upgrades, production support, and maintenance of mission-critical business systems.
• Support mergers and acquisitions by conducting due diligenc, planning, and executing integration of new sites and acquisitions.
• Resolve complex 2nd and 3rd line support tickets to completion.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with infrastructure standards and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provision hardware, networking, telephony, and cloud solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including out-of-hours support when required.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents.

Skills

• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 migrations using tools such as BitTitan.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerShell, including the ability to develop custom scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
