Infrastructure Engineer - (Drainage / Highways) - Leeds - £40,000-£50,000 DOE

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, my client is seeking a talented Infrastructure Engineer (Drainage / Highways) to join a dynamic Civil Engineering team in Leeds.

The Infrastructure Engineer (Drainage / Highways) will work across various sectors, including public, commercial, and private developments. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer looking to further develop their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate infrastructure design projects from conception to completion
• Design drainage systems to current industry standards
• Prepare technical drawings and reports for planning, approval, and construction
• Conduct flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and Section 104 agreements
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external consultants to ensure project success
• Utilise AutoCAD and Civils 3D to produce infrastructure designs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to deliver projects within a multi-disciplinary consultancy
• Strong technical knowledge of drainage design, flood risk assessments, and S104 agreements
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, WinDes MicroDrainage (essential)
• Experience with AutoCAD Civils 3D, earthworks, and highway design (desirable)
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders
• A valid UK driving licence is required
