Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud

They provide single integration, turnkey validation and monitoring, and ensure no PHI egress. Their platform includes an AI catalog, AI validation, and AI security through orchestration.

Ferrum Health accelerates clinical AI deployment with a platform for AI orchestration, validation, and a catalog of AI solutions. They focus on data protection and reducing IT costs.

Minimum Requirements :

• At least 3 years of relevant DevOps experience
• At least 2 years of maintaining production environments using Terraform and other IaC tools
• Writing binaries, libraries, and microservices in Go or Python
• Release management and deployment methodologies
• GCP or other public cloud technologies

Responsibilities :

• Working with application developers to design and deploy services into multiple cloud environments
• Taking ownership of our build and deployment pipeline for application code and container images
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code best practices in order to maintain reliable systems
• Applying your Linux knowledge to maintain, extend, and scale our hybrid cloud platform

Additional Requirements :

• At least 2 years in a customer facing role
• At least 3 years of proven experience in an architectural capacity for complex or enterprise applications
• Deep understanding of fundamental container internals in Linux environments
• Successfully leading an architecture, integration, or customer success engineering team while managing cross functional stakeholders
• Writing and maintaining production-level applications with Python 3 or Go

Additional Responsibilities :

• Own the technical success of our ML application partners on Ferrum’s platform and at customer sites, alongside customer success
• Shepherd ML applications through the end-to-end process, from onboarding and integration through deployment and monitoring
• Become the point of contact for engineering and technical needs to and from ML application partners
• Directly contribute code when developing compatibility and integration shim layers
• Surface platform technical requirements by new and upcoming ML applications

Further Requirements :

• At least 3 years of managing production-level Kubernetes clusters
• Writing binaries, libraries, and microservices in Go or Python
• Managing complex Helm packages in scenarios both with and without CD
• Resolving issues involving the network and storage layers of complex clusters

Further Responsibilities :

• Making k8s invisible to our developers
• Multi-cluster management across multiple environments
• Standardizing Helm package management and using your experience to bring in best practices around k8s resources
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code practices in order to maintain reliable systems
