Job summary

Pertemps Redditch Industrial is seeking a Level 2 Infrastructure Support Engineer with active SC or NPPV3 clearance. Based in Reading with hybrid pattern (one week onsite, one week remote), you will join a team working on secure infrastructure projects.

You'll maintain Microsoft Server/Desktop environments, VMware, cloud services, and basic networking, with a focus on compliance and support for third-party apps in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Active SC or NPPV3 clearance required.
• Experience maintaining VMware infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2022 and AD/DNS.
• Windows 11 desktop support.
• Cloud knowledge (Azure or AWS).
• Basic networking and backup management.
• Experience in Defence/government environments is a plus.

Level 2 Infrastructure Support Engineer | SC or NPPV3 Cleared

Reading | Hybrid Working (One Week Onsite, One Week Remote)

My client is looking for an experienced SC Cleared or NPPv3 Cleared Infrastructure Engineer to join an exceptional team, working on cutting-edge technical projects. Due to the nature of the work, this Infrastructure Engineer role will require you tohold an active SC or NPPV3 clearance.

In this Infrastructure Engineer role you will be primarily responsible for the maintenance of, Microsoft Server and Desktop, VMWare, Cloud, basic networking, and support for third-party applications in an environment that requires SC or NPPV3 clearance

To be considered, you must hold active SC or NPPV3 clearance and have experience supporting:

• VMWare infrastructure,


• Microsoft Server 2022 (including services like Active Directory and DNS),


• Microsoft Windows 11 desktops, and third-party applications.


• Cloud knowledge (Azure or AWS)


• Updating and maintaining Anti-Virus software,


• Basic networking functionalities,


• Backup Management

Experience working within Defence, Government, Law Enforcement or other highly regulated environments would be highly beneficial.
