Job summary

Intec Select is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer based in Maidstone, Kent to keep systems running smoothly and deliver projects from network refresh to on‑premise to cloud transformation.

You will manage hardware, software, servers, backups with Veeam, and support Exchange 365, SharePoint and Active Directory while maintaining documentation and supporting sites and users.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT support or service function with 3rd Line Support.
• ERP management capability (COINS or Netsuite preferred).
• Technical expertise in Server maintenance (2012-2016), Veeam backups, and network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments (Office, SharePoint, AD, Exchange).
• Excellent communication and customer-focused problem solving.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide support across hardware, software, phones, mobiles, and specialist systems.
• Manage helpdesk enquiries, escalating where needed and seeing issues through to resolution.
• Support servers (Windows 2012/2016), Exchange 365, backups (Veeam), and network infrastructure.
• Set up new sites, accounts, and mobile devices.
• Maintain IT documentation and ensure smooth daily operations.

Infrastructure Engineer | £40,000 - £50,000 +5% Bonus | Kent Based | Permanent

Our client is seeking a Infrastructure Engineer to join their team and play a key role in keeping their systems running smoothly and delivering on a number of interesting projects, network refresh, ERP implementation, on – premise to cloud transformation and the integration of a new ticketing system.

Our client is looking to pay between £40,000 to £50,000 circa, to be based in Maidstone, Kent with additional benefits including a 5% bonus potential.

You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, resolving issues, and supporting business-critical projects, ensuring our colleagues have the tools they need to succeed.
