Our Infrastructure Engineers are vital in deploying and maintaining our cutting-edge software, developing tools for production environments, and automating deployment processes. They work on building tools for self-hosted clients, product integration, and enhancing our data and streaming platforms, ensuring a reliable user experience for Thought Machine engineers and bank SREs.

Duties
  1. Support the engineering team in building reliable, scalable applications.
  2. Design and develop tools to enhance scalability and availability, automating processes where possible.
  3. Develop and deploy observability and orchestration tools to monitor and manage deployments.
  4. Participate in disaster recovery, backup, and redundancy activities.
  5. Improve code quality through new tools and processes.
Requirements
Essential
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience.
  • Experience with Python or Golang.
  • Interest in databases, observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana), or infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, or willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of container tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
Desirable
  • Experience with production systems.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
