Love2shop is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to stabilize and improve its IT infrastructure, with a focus on automation and next-gen cloud technologies. The role emphasizes Windows and Linux expertise, on-premise and cloud, and experience in a service-critical environment, ideally in the financial sector.
Responsibilities include incident resolution, change management, DR testing, and documenting solutions.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Infrastructure Team as an Infrastructure Engineer to help us drive stability and improvements to our PayPoint Group’s IT Infrastructure while we continue to push forward with our next gen cloud technology and automation goals.
The Infrastructure Engineer will ensure automation of tasks is at the forefront of their thinking to enhance speed of deployment of new project work or existing improvements to the infrastructure.
The ideal person will have a proven track record in the installation, support and maintenance of advanced Windows and Linux Technologies and be able to demonstrate management of incidents through to resolution. They will be able to demonstrate an understanding of Infrastructure services to an elevated level for On‑Premise, and In‑Cloud technologies. Previous experience of working in the financial sector or the ability to provide examples of working in a service critical environment are advantageous.
As an Infrastructure Engineer they will be responsible for ensuring the Infrastructure Services meet all regulatory requirements, namely PCI DSS, ISO27001, and Cyber Security Essentials. This will include the introduction of standards to ensure conformity within the PayPoint environment.
Proven Production Support or Project Delivery experience
Proven ability to document and explain designs
Detail orientated with strong written and verbal communication skills
Delivering projects and solutions from inception to completion

The majority of this role will be (Hybrid) and will require some travel to our bright and modern offices in Liverpool. (2 – 3 days a week)
