The role is to provide resource to the Network team to support the Network environment. It is expected for the ideal candidate has some form of education or accreditation in network technologies and theories over the past 2 years. The Infrastructure Team are expected to respond in a timely manner to support tickets, queries or fault reports and to support projects.
The infrastructure team are responsible for the Network Infrastructure and Network Security within the Bank, ensuring that all related systems operate reliably and as expected. This requires a broader-than-normal understanding of traffic flows between locations, as well as within and beyond the organisation’s boundaries. The role also demands prior experience with enterprise networking and security platforms, wireless and access control solutions, centralised network management capabilities, cloud-based networking environments, and the use of automation to improve consistency, resilience, and operational efficiency.
As well as this being part of the Infrastructure Team, individuals are required to understand the inner workings of an IT department, understand what function the different teams provide across IT, which will allow them to effectively triage tickets and queries.

Working Hours 37.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 5.00 with one hour for lunch. Hybrid working in the office and from home.
