Job summary

AudioStack is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to co-own and scale our production infrastructure in London. You will manage AWS, Terraform-driven deployments, and containerized workloads while ensuring security, cost control, and reliability.

You’ll work in a small, collaborative team with support from infrastructure leads, covering SRE, DevOps, and platform improvements. Hybrid office presence in London is required, with opportunities to influence engineering practices across the company.

Qualifications

• Experience running production infrastructure on AWS or another major cloud provider and willingness to work on AWS from day one.
• Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform or similar.
• Experience running containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical networking and security knowledge (VPCs, DNS, load balancers, TLS, least-privilege access).
• Comfort with Python and Git; curiosity about AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve AWS infrastructure through Terraform, including Kubernetes (EKS), RDS, networking, and ad-tech VAST servers.
• Keep network and access secure with least-privilege model and Auth0 integration; support SOC2 compliance.
• Track cloud costs and help scale infrastructure efficiently.
• Write runbooks and documentation to share infra knowledge across the team.
• Oversee observability stack (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Logfire) and incident alerts.
• Join on-call rotation to meet enterprise SLAs and perform maintenance with minimal downtime.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and rollback to enable fast, safe shipping.
• Provide tooling to let teams spin up prototypes and automations quickly.
• Be a go-to person for infrastructure and platform questions across engineering.

AudioStack is the agentic audio production platform for media and advertising. We turn a brief or raw content into broadcast-ready audio, automated and embeddable at any scale. About the role

Every ad, voiceover and audiobook we deliver depends on the infrastructure underneath it. We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to co-own that foundation alongside our infrastructure lead, keeping it secure, reliable and cost-effective as we grow.

You'll join a small, collaborative engineering team and work with engineers across the company. We are looking for a mid or senior engineer with real ownership, and you'll have support from our tech and infrastructure leads as you take responsibilities across infrastructure, site reliability and devops.

Location: London, hybrid (2 days a week in the office)

Level: Mid to Senior Level

What you'll do

Infrastructure

• Maintain and improve our AWS infrastructure through Terraform - including our Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, RDS databases, networking and our ad-tech VAST servers.
• Keep our network and access secure with a least-privilege model and our Auth0 integration, and support our SOC2 compliance.
• Track cloud costs and help us scale efficiently.
• Write runbooks and documentation so infrastructure knowledge is shared across the team.

Site reliability (SRE)

• Look after our observability stack (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Logfire) and the alerts that tell us when something's wrong.
• Join our on-call rotation to help us meet our enterprise SLAs, and carry out maintenance with zero or planned downtime.
• Help improve how we handle and learn from incidents.

DevOps and developer experience

• Improve our CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and rollback so engineers can ship quickly and safely.
• Provide tooling that let teams spin up prototypes and automations fast.
• Be a go-to person for infrastructure and platform questions across engineering.

What you bring

Essential

• Experience running production infrastructure on AWS or another major cloud provider so long as you're ready to work on AWS from day one.
• Infrastructure as code experience with tools like Terraform.
• Running containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical knowledge of networking and security: VPCs, DNS, load balancers, TLS and least-privilege access.
• Comfort writing Python and working with Git, and curiosity about AI coding tools.

Nice to have

• A background ensuring a product meets enterprise-grade SLAs - e.g. being on-call for a production system, handling incidents end to end, or setting up observability, alerting and SLOs.
• DevOps knowledge on how to build or improve CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
• Experience with Auth0 or OAuth, RDS operations, or SOC2 audits.
