Job summary

Burns Sheehan in central London is seeking an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to design, build and support Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and cloud infrastructure.

You will work hands-on across VMs, storage, networking, identity management and cloud security, collaborating with the Modern Workplace team to deliver secure, scalable platforms for internal users and customer-facing tech. This hybrid, four-days-in-office role offers up to £65,000 plus a 10% bonus. Excellent London-based opportunity.

Qualifications

• Solid background in Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows Server, identity management and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience across Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure including VMs, storage, backup and IaaS.
• Handle Azure networking and hybrid connectivity.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID and identity management.
• Administer Microsoft 365 across the organisation.
• Implement cloud security with Defender and governance.
• Lead Azure migrations and infrastructure improvements.
• Develop PowerShell automation and operational improvements.

Infrastructure Cloud Engineer | Azure, Microsoft 365 & Cloud Infrastructure

Central London (x4 days per week in office)

Up to £65,000 + 10% Bonus

Here at Burns Sheehan, we're working with a well-established organisation with a focused towards premium London-based workspace who operate at over 60 locations across the UK and Europe.

Following continued growth and increased investment into technolog they're on the lookout for an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to play a key role in the ongoing development and support of their Microsoft Azure environment. This is a hands‑on engineering position where you'll work across Azure infrastructure, networking, cloud security and Microsoft 365, helping to deliver a secure, scalable and resilient platform that supports both internal users and customer‑facing technology.

Working alongside the Modern Workplace Architect and wider Infrastructure team, you'll contribute to cloud projects, support platform improvements and help shape the future of the Azure estate while acting as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
