Job summary

Global Leading Tech Trading Firm in London is hiring an IT Systems Support Engineer to join its technology team. The role supports a demanding, always-on environment and keeps critical systems running smoothly day to day.

This launchpad role offers exposure across hardware, networking, and internal tooling, with guidance from senior engineers. You’ll work on scripting to automate repetitive tasks, develop technical skills, and build strong relationships across the business as you grow.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a technical support or IT support role.
• Troubleshooting across operating systems, hardware, and everyday connectivity issues.
• Good foundational understanding of networking concepts.
• Some exposure to scripting or automation is a plus.
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and a strong communicator.
• Able to remain composed and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for technical issues across the business, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
• Help maintain and improve the wider network and computing environment as the business scales.
• Support onsite technical needs, including occasional physical hardware work.
• Contribute to small automation and tooling projects to reduce manual, repetitive tasks.
• Build strong working relationships across the business through clear, professional communication.
