A leading recruitment agency is looking for Infrastructure Engineers to manage and support cloud infrastructure primarily on Azure. Infrastructure Engineers – MS Azure – Canary Wharf/London – Hybrid
Global client has opportunities for Infrastructure Engineers who will be responsible for managing and supporting cloud infrastructure/services and releases of new technologies. You will have experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions, ideally on MS Azure, and working with third-party partners. Responsibilities include provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of hardware/software and related infrastructure, implementing and managing cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless applications, as well as automated deployment pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and configuration management tools (e.g., Manage Engine, OneLogin).
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in a similar role, with hands-on expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure. A solid understanding of networking concepts such as VPCs and subnets, along with cloud architectures and IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models, is essential. Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) in cloud environments is also required.
Additional knowledge should include cloud security best practices, IAM, encryption, LAN/WAN, and managing large-scale Citrix/Terminal Server environments. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation are necessary. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI), and monitoring tools for performance and security is desirable. Understanding network security and compliance standards such as GDPR and SEC is also important.
This role offers a salary of circa £50,000 plus up to 13% bonus, a 10% salary review, hybrid working, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension contributions (NYK contributes 7% of salary), healthcare, employee assistance, travel loan, gym membership, medical cover, and health cash plan.
