Get into IaC for cloud service design, provisioning, maintenance and support
Given experience in sufficient relevant areas, this role provides the opportunity for a qualified candidate working in DevOps, IT infrastructure or software development to grow into a larger role designing and provisioning major cloud systems using infrastructure as code (IaC).
Candidates will need to be UK based, with existing long-term work permission without sponsorship, and a preference is for those already living close to Cambridge given the balance of office-based versus remote working available.
You will have accumulated a strong mix of many of the following to a commercial grade, as represented on your CV:
If you already have cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or IaC experience (Terraform, etc.) that is a major plus. You will have a good technical degree from a good university. You will also have good communication skills in technical and non-technical English, will be technically minded, and a detail-oriented logical thinker.
A competitive salary depending on experience, and good benefits including bonuses, private medical care and flexible hours is available to the right candidate. Hybrid working to 50% is possible. There will be an on-call support element to the role, one week in four, for vital incidents only and with time in lieu.
