Hays are supporting a law firm based in central Bristol who are recruiting a new IT Infrastructure Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The salary on offer is up to £50,000pa and the team typically work in a hybrid pattern, two or three days per week in the office.

Your new role

In this role, you will work on a range of project-based and BAU infrastructure tasks including cloud platform upgrades and BAU maintenance of on-premise infrastructure. You will look after and manage server infrastructure in Azure and on-premise in VMware. You’ll support network services and application management. You’ll administer network switches & firewalls and manage Active Directory and Group Policy.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will need to have worked in a similar 3rd line IT infrastructure role with on-premise and cloud infrastructure experience. You should have good knowledge of Azure server infrastructure and network engineering. Exposure to Aruba networking, Windows Server, VMware, Microsoft 365, and Azure Cloud is also required.
