FWA Infrastructure Electrician

We’re looking for an Infrastructure Electrician with a head for heights to help manage the day-to-day operations of infrastructure builds on mast sites around Yorkshire.

  • Connecting power from the DNO or local supplies across rural Yorkshire.
  • Traveling to transmitter sites and mast locations, working outdoors and at heights.
  • Assessing potential hazards and undertaking dynamic risk assessments to ensure safety.
  • Maintaining and upgrading power supply systems within our network.
  • Maintaining sites, fixing equipment, decommissioning sites, and conducting site surveys for new locations.
What makes you great for this role
  • Experience in a similar role, such as telecoms or military.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to work at heights and outdoors regularly.
  • Hold an 18th Edition qualification and have testing and inspecting knowledge.
  • Ideally hold an IPAF Licence.
  • Experience with DC equipment, installation, and design.
  • Hold a Full UK Clean Driving Licence.

This is a full-time role on a 24/7/365 rota to ensure swift resolution of network faults.
