A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Infrastructure Solution Designer to work with a Telecoms Company on a hybrid basis in London. The role involves designing and implementing technical solutions and managing security postures within service management platforms. Overview

Infrastructure Solution Designer working with a Telecoms Company for an initial 6-month contract, paying between £ - £ per day (inside IR35). This is a Hybrid position 3 days p/week from the London office. [SC Clearance required]

Responsibilities

• This role provides technical specialisms that underpin the service management platforms for Enterprise customers, generating revenue circa 50-60m per annum.
• Provides design and implementation of technical solutions in an end-to-end engineering function.
• Accountable for ensuring and understanding the security posture of the components they are responsible for.
• Is proactive in the resolution of both service-effecting events and security defects in their specialist area.
• Providing uplifts to the platforms that are sympathetic to the operational needs of Enterprise.
• Providing reporting and communication for senior management and project delivery, to ensure they are aware of all weekly activities.

Required Experience

• Is able to regularly attend Defence offices as per customer / platform requirements.
• Holds a technical degree or industry-relevant experience.
• Is able to read, understand and update complex design artefacts.
• Can communicate effectively with a range of customer types across the business, both internal and external.
• Stakeholder management - evidence of managing multiple stakeholders across a variety of roles and seniority levels.
• Is able to develop subject matter expertise in engineering functions such as Service Management, Network Management or Infrastructure Management.
• Can work under direction in a fast-paced environment on a variety of projects or issues.
• Has an understanding of ITIL practices and understands how they apply to IT Service Management platforms.
