Job summary

Tilbury Douglas in Reading is seeking a Design Coordinator to support major infrastructure projects in the South West. You will coordinate the design process from tender to construction, ensuring information is delivered on time and to client requirements, while fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating design from tender to construction.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; professional membership (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design process from tender through to construction, ensuring information aligns with programme, quality and client requirements.
• Work with designers, project teams, subcontractors and clients to develop practical, buildable engineering solutions.
• Organise design meetings, manage information and support timely delivery of design packages.
• Promote value engineering, identify design risks and opportunities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor progress, coordinate interfaces between civil, M&E, and support procurement and construction teams.
