Job description

Perform high-level and low-level design for storage systems (PowerMax 2000 & 8000) and backup solutions (HP StoreOnce & Veritas).

Collaborate with the project team to address storage and backup requirements.

Demonstrate strong design and solution experience.

Experience with storage systems such as PowerMax 2000 & 8000, and enterprise storage hardware/software like HP 3Par, Nimble, and NetApp platforms.

Implement and manage SAN fabrics, switches, and components.

Resolve hardware and software faults in high-availability critical environments.

Proficient in shell scripting and Red Hat Linux.

Knowledge of networking protocols and topologies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation review.

Support Dell and HP storage solutions, understanding NG infrastructure provisioning and collaborating with Dell teams on design reviews.

Build and integrate information systems to meet organizational needs.

Assess current infrastructure architectures and recommend improvements.

Resolve technical issues promptly and provide guidance to implementation and development teams.

Research emerging technologies and propose relevant changes.

TOGAF certification is advantageous; familiarity with the framework is preferred.

Inform stakeholders about issues with current technical solutions.

Possess extensive networking knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Manage backups, disaster recovery, and support creation of build and configuration documents for storage and backup solutions.

Experience with Veritas NetBackup installation, support, and management.
