The Role & Responsibilities

This role focuses on Cyber Security within the Corporate Tech chapter, providing a proactive first-line approach to continuous monitoring & investigation into unusual network and systems activity, and supporting the initial response to cyber events.

Utilising expertise within this capability to proactively identify areas for further 'protect' improvements (e.g., process, configuration, tooling, or control operation) and participating in the virtual Cyber Security Improvements and Response Team to deliver security enhancements on the roadmap.

Infrastructure Services are responsible for all underlying Servers, Storage, and Cloud technologies. The team, comprising Engineers, Senior Engineers, and a team lead, works closely with all business and technology delivery areas.

Key Skills

  • Understanding of Network and Firewall configurations
  • Cloud (Azure and/or AWS) (desirable)
  • Experience working within demanding and diverse user environments
  • Industry and regulatory awareness for banking environments (desirable)
  • Good understanding of Microsoft technologies
  • F5, VMWare, SQL Server 2016+ (not a DBA), Powershell, Windows Server, Veeam, SharePoint Online, Exchange Server, VMware Horizon, DUO 2FA, MoveIT Automation, VeloCloud, HP Storage
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Experience with O365 Suite and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS)
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and security tools
