Job summary

CGI is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Tester to join a cross-functional team in Gloucester. You will design, build and manage automated test environments, ensuring robust, repeatable infrastructure testing across client platforms.

You will drive tooling improvements and collaborate with developers, product owners and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality outcomes. The role requires on-site work five days a week and Higher level UK Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure automation and testing in secure/complex environments.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
• HLC clearance and on-site work in Gloucester are required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated test environments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and reuse playbooks, roles and scripts to configure and validate infrastructure.
• Build, maintain and improve automated test pipelines with development teams.
• Execute and assure testing of complex systems, documenting results for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to support delivery and continuous improvement.
• Promote knowledge sharing and best practice across the team and wider client community.
