Infrastructure Architect - SQL Focused

Location: Basingstoke – 5 days a week – Office based

Your role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to work as part of a multi-skilled agile team, including security, service, and management. Your role will involve:

  • Owning the delivery of a work package from design through prototyping, ensuring it meets functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving, including scripting repeatable unit tests to exercise functionality.
  • Supporting the work package through user piloting and into production, providing early life support, and creating and maintaining documentation.
  • Delivering ongoing changes to the work package in response to evolving user requirements.

Your experience

Candidates must have an advanced knowledge of:

  • SQL Server
  • Desirable but not essential: Microsoft Windows systems administration within an enterprise environment, including delivery of configuration change via GPO, Registry, Filesystem, Powershell cmdlets, WMI, Windows Update, and patching mechanisms.
