Infrastructure Architect - Permanent - DV Clearance

We are hiring an Infrastructure Architect based in Basingstoke. This is a permanent position offering a salary of £70K - £80K, plus bonus and a £6K car allowance. The role requires DV clearance; please apply if you hold active clearance or are eligible to obtain one.

Responsibilities:

1. Own the design and delivery of technical infrastructure proposals.
2. Ensure architectural solutions are cohesive, compliant, and adaptable to change.
3. Support delivery across the lifecycle, from requirements to service transition.
4. Collaborate within a skilled Agile team, embracing cross-training and shared challenges.
5. Communicate technical concepts and infrastructure visions to senior customer executives.
6. Design and implement secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure solutions.
7. Manage third-party contributions and change requests without compromising architectural integrity.
8. Contribute to successful deployment of solutions and support service transition phases.

Skills and Experience required:

1. Strong client-facing experience, with the ability to influence and advise at senior executive levels.
2. Proven track record in designing and implementing secure, large-scale, resilient infrastructures.
3. Experience defining infrastructure requirements directly with customers.
4. Successful delivery of production-grade solutions with smooth transitions into operational support.
5. Solid understanding of security standards and how to architect compliant infrastructure.
6. Experience with Agile delivery methodologies in a technical environment.
7. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows enterprise administration, including:

• GPO, Registry, Filesystem configuration
• PowerShell cmdlets and WMI scripting
• Patch management and Windows Installer deployments
