Job summary

ECS Resource Group in London is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to lead patch management and vulnerability remediation across large-scale environments.

The role focuses on shaping patching strategy, improving processes and driving automation across servers, OS, networks, databases and containers, with recent financial services experience preferred. Hybrid London-based, day rate £650-£750 inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect/Technical Architect or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of patch and vulnerability management.
• Experience across server, OS, network, database and container environments.
• Record of delivering large-scale transformation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define and shape the future-state patch management and automation strategy.
• Review existing patching processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop technical solutions to improve vulnerability remediation and reduce patch backlogs.
• Define tooling and technical requirements and support implementation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Operations and Service Management teams.
• Provide technical recommendations to senior stakeholders and help drive transformation.

£650 - £750 per day | Inside IR35

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect with strong expertise across patch management, vulnerability remediation and infrastructure automation to support a major programme within a large enterprise environment.

You’ll help shape patching strategy, improve existing processes and identify opportunities to automate vulnerability remediation across a large enterprise environment.

• Review existing patching processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop technical solutions to improve vulnerability remediation and reduce patch backlogs

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect/Technical Architect, or similar

• Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation and process improvement
• Recent financial services experience is essential
