Job summary

Pracyva ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Architect in London, UK for a 1 year FTC role. The candidate will define the future patching process landscape, tooling, and alignment across GTI technologies, communicating changes to stakeholders at all levels.

The role requires 1.5+ years in infrastructure automation at an architect level, with strong knowledge of core infra tech, ITSM tools (ServiceNow), and cybersecurity concepts. Collaboration with multiple business groups is essential.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation at an architect level.
• Experience implementing/improving enterprise patch processes is a plus.
• Strong understanding of core infra tech: networks, servers, OS, containers, databases.
• Knowledge of ITSM tooling and reporting/compliance processes.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, threat and vulnerability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define the future process landscape for end-2-end patching across GTI technologies.
• Define tooling landscape to automate patch acquisition, certification, rollout and reporting.
• Align with technology and business groups to plan tooling changes.
• Create material to communicate changes to stakeholders from technical experts to senior management.

Job description

We are seeking Infrastructure Automation Architect in Lonond, UK for 1 year FTC role.

Role Details:

1. Define the future process landscape of the end-2-end patching process, including but not limited to

• patch acquisition
• patch certification
• patch rollout
• patch reporting

across the full portfolio of GTI technologies. This includes both the definition of functional and non-functional requirements as well as the specification of processes capable to deliver to these requirements.

2. Define the future tooling landscape across GTI to implement and automate acquisition, certification, rollout and reporting of patches including but not limited to

• Network & Storage Devices
• Operating Systems (incl. Hypervisors)
• Runtime Environments (e.g. Containers)
• Databases
• various other middleware components, both sourced as open-source software or commercial off the shell products

3. Align with other technology and business groups across the bank to facilitate the required process changes and plan the implementation of the tooling landscape

4. Create material to effectively communicate the required changes to all stakeholders - from technical experts to senior management

Skills:

1.5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation in global enterprises on an architect level experience in implementing large-scale automation projects for core data centre technologies solid understanding and experience with

• core infrastructure technologies (esp. networks, servers, operating systems, containers, databases)
• ITSM processes and tooling (esp. ServiceNow)
• reporting & compliance processes
• understanding of cybersecurity, threat and vulnerability analysis

2. a record of implementing/improving patch processes on an enterprise level is a huge plus

3. advanced communication, consulting and presentation skills

4. strong ability to manage and influence a diverse community of stakeholders
