Job description

Inside IR35 Candidates MUST have valid live SC clearance to be considered for this role.

My client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect for a 6 month initial contract. Largely home based with 1-2 days per month in their Hampshire office.

Required Skills:

1. Ability to independently develop technical solutions to customer problems.
2. Provide overarching architectural guidance.
3. Cloud migration experience.
4. Knowledge of Agile delivery methods.
5. Ability to work under pressure in large multi-discipline teams to tight schedules.
6. Ability to lead architecture and engineering teams within the larger project.
7. Ability to engage with stakeholders from multiple areas of the business including product design, service design, operations, and the customer.
8. Using excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills to explain complex topics concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
9. Experience in design of middleware platforms, web services, and enterprise applications.
10. Good all-round technical knowledge of Linux and Windows environments and application hosting.
11. Experience of networking technologies and security boundaries.
12. Broad knowledge of system security and defense in depth practices to enable close working with the security team.
13. Knowledge of AWS or other public cloud technology.
14. Knowledge of service management and ITIL to enable close working with the service architect.
15. Experience with system and software modeling languages and frameworks such as TOGAF and SYSML.
