• Combined authorities and local authorities
• Universities and Colleges

The Role

Following new client acquisitions, the team seeks to recruit at Associate to Managing Associate level. The role is flexible regarding location, based in any of our 13 offices across England and Scotland. We seek ambitious Projects and Infrastructure lawyers with experience in domestic and international projects, ideally with synergies in development and transactional project management, particularly in clean energy and transport sectors. Clients include global manufacturers, retailers, developers, and major builders.

The successful candidate will contribute to departmental growth and business development, with experience in:

• PFI/PPP contract management (variations, refinancing, asset management, expiry, and hand back)
• PFI/PPP secondary market transactions
• Infrastructure M&A
• Advising on commercial contracts within the infrastructure sector
• Projects and transactions in renewables/net zero sectors (solar, wind, battery storage, energy from waste, EV, bioenergy, offshore transmission, district heating)
