JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Infrastructure Platforms team within Data Center Services. You will mentor engineers, stay hands‑on in software delivery, and drive stable, scalable, and secure technology services across modern web and backend systems.

You will partner with product, operations, and risk stakeholders to translate needs into clear execution plans, while fostering an inclusive culture focused on psychological safety, growth, and high performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading or managing engineers, including coaching and performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain high‑performing teams in an agile delivery environment.
• Strong hands‑on engineering skills with web and service development.
• Experience with cloud deployments and operating applications on virtual servers.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and develop software engineers, fostering inclusion and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Own team delivery commitments by planning work, managing capacity, tracking progress, and removing blockers.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, code reviews, testing, and automated delivery pipelines.
• Contribute hands‑on as a senior engineer by writing, reviewing, and improving production code across web UIs and backend services.
• Partner with product and senior stakeholders to translate requirements into technical plans and measurable outcomes.
• Lead agile rituals and continuously improve team ways of working.
• Oversee vendor‑supported applications, ensuring delivery governance and knowledge transfer.
• Own application stability and resiliency, coordinating incident response and remediation.
• Maintain applications across cloud and virtual server environments, including DR testing.
• Strengthen risk and controls posture by coordinating with risk and control stakeholders.
