Job summary

British Engineering Services Group is hiring for Inspire Structures and Inspired Access roles to grow infrastructure inspection and specialist access services across the UK. You will identify opportunities, develop solutions, and lead commercial discussions from enquiry to contract award.

Build strong relationships with clients and operations teams while preparing competitive tenders and bids. Hybrid work with offices in Manchester or Ilkeston.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Engineering/Surveying/Project Management or Bridge Inspection competency.
• Extensive experience within the specialist access sector (Roped Access Techniques).
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
• Experience with infrastructure inspections, structural examinations and roped/suspended access systems.
• UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities, develop solutions and lead commercial discussions that convert client requirements into profitable contracts.
• Take ownership of opportunities from initial enquiry through to successful contract award and handover.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients across the infrastructure sector.
• Prepare and present commercially competitive tenders, quotations and bids.
• Carry out pre-tender planning, site visits and client engagement activities.
• Present bid proposals at review meetings with clear recommendations on commercial, operational and technical considerations.
