Job summary

Naimuri is seeking an Information Security Officer in the Manchester area to bridge high-level compliance with hands-on technical security. You’ll report to Head of Security and help ensure our policies work in the real world, protecting our customers and reputation.

In this mid-level role, you’ll manage governance, risk and compliance, lead security audits, and collaborate across teams to harden cloud environments and secure endpoints. Growth-minded, agile professionals thrive here.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in an Information Security or dual IT/Security role.
• Familiarity with cloud platform security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and MDM solutions.
• Understanding of UK GDPR and ISO 27001.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SSCP, or CISM are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Governance, risk & compliance: maintain security management systems and align with Cyber Essentials Plus & ISO27001.
• Policy evolution: develop security policies balancing security with agility.
• Security auditing: conduct internal audits and coordinate with external assessors.
• Third-party risk: assess security of supply chain and vendors.
• Collaborative defence: harden cloud environments and secure devices.
• Vulnerability management: run and remediate scans and fix issues.
• Incident response: refine playbooks and investigate alerts.
• Identity & Access: manage licenses and access controls.
