• Experience in leading and managing technical teams.
• CISSP or similar certification or working towards one.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks like CIS and NIST.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies.
• Deep understanding of network infrastructure and cloud security.
• Proven experience in incident response and threat management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with ITIL and technical operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4 security professionals.
• Deputise for the Head of IT Security in relevant forums.
• Oversee investigation and remediation of security incidents.
• Act as an escalation point for complex threats.
• Ensure secure design and implementation of cloud solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials Plus and GDPR.
• Contribute to the development of the security program.
• Communicate risks to stakeholders.

Skills

Experience in leading and managing technical teams

CISSP or similar security certification
