Job Description:

The principal responsibilities of this job relate to the three companies within the group and include the following areas:

• Software – Bespoke: Write and maintain bespoke software in the Universe pick-based language. Recommend improvements to existing software to meet current and future business objectives.
• Software – Packages: Install, configure, and upgrade third-party software packages, including Microsoft Office. Maintain supporting procedures, recommend upgrades, and assist users with enquiries and enhancement requests, subject to management approval.
• Security (including firewall): Maintain and configure all IT security measures, liaising with third parties. Suggest improvements and remove unused programs and files to enhance security.
• Hardware (servers, PCs, printers, networks): Install, configure, and maintain hardware, liaising with third parties. Recommend improvements to electronic communication services and maintain related procedures.
