Job Description:

About the Opportunity

This role will see you carrying out duties to ensure that the Centre's computer network, hardware, software and necessary programs are working correctly and are accessible to all users as required. You will also provide support on an ad hoc basis to GEO partners, stakeholders and other Centres.

About your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An ability to Support and maintain the computer network and systems, to standards prescribed in ISO27001:2022 and Information Security Manual (ISM)
  • Assist with, and at times manage, IT Projects at the facility as required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff and prisoners
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a correctional environment that will involve direct contact with prisoners in a non-working capacity due to the layout of the Centre and prisoners undertaking work throughout the Centre
