Are you a proactive and enthusiastic IT professional ready to take the next step in your career? Our Laurel Education Trust is looking for a dedicated Information Technology Assistant Manager to help develop, maintain, and support our IT systems and infrastructure across our schools.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services. The successful candidate will be involved in both desktop and cloud support, as well as assisting with planned installations and upgrades of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line technical support to staff and students across the Trust
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktop computers, printers, and software
  • Support the maintenance and performance of cloud-based systems
  • Assist with planning and implementing IT installations and upgrades
  • Maintain clear documentation of systems and support activities
  • Collaborate with the wider IT team to ensure security, reliability, and efficiency of IT services

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience supporting desktop computers and printers
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in an educational environment is desirable
