Sheffield City Councils ICT & Digital Innovation Service is offering an amazing Apprenticeship opportunity to launch your career in ICT, with an Sept 2025 start.
Our ICT & Digital Innovation Service an enabling and supporting service; supporting internal customers by designing, delivering, and supporting the right technology, communication, and digital solutions to make processes more efficient, cost-effective and secure. It provides overall ICT support and development to the Council.
This Apprenticeship opportunity is available in the following area:
Digital Access - Automation:
Help develop, test and maintain automated processes using Microsofts Power Platform tools including Power Apps and Power Automate (and others).
These improved processes help the Council to be more effective and user-friendly at delivering our services to the public. They also help us to work more efficiently so our staff can spend less time doing boring, repetitive tasks.
The Automation team works closely with other teams within Digital Access that develop the Councils websites, telephone systems, and customer relationship management system. We also have upcoming projects using AI.

For this role we are looking for a willingness and ability to complete a Level 3 qualification in Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship.
For this role we are looking for a willingness and ability to complete GCSE English & Maths (should it be required).
