Job Description:

The role focuses on risk management activities related to technology within the UK firm. You will report to the Risk Management Manager and work with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Organize and manage activities, prioritizing requests based on criticality and risk.
  2. Liaise with stakeholders to gather information on relevant technologies.
  3. Assist in conducting risk assessments to identify risks and non-compliance issues.
  4. Evaluate the impact of risks on the organization, including financial and reputational consequences.
  5. Support risk remediation, managing and tracking risks until closure.
  6. Serve as the point of contact for business teams regarding information security questions.
  7. Prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  8. Own assigned tasks, monitor KPIs, and ensure deadlines are met.
  9. Support strategic projects, process improvements, and knowledge sharing activities.
Skills and Experience:
  • Strong interest in building a career in information/cyber security.
  • Formal qualification in Information Security.
  • Experience in a relevant security or IT role is a plus but not required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to verify information accuracy.
  • Curiosity and good questioning skills to assess significance of issues.
  • Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and escalate when necessary.
  • Customer service orientation, problem-solving skills, and team collaboration.
  • Effective communication skills, including writing and presentation abilities.
  • Basic to intermediate data manipulation and visualization skills (e.g., PowerBI, Alteryx, Excel).
  • Experience with Microsoft M365 is desirable but not essential.
