Job summary

ION is seeking an Information Security Officer to join our Information Security team in Greater London. The role focuses on SOC2 compliance, ISO 27001, audits, and client-facing engagements to ensure regulatory adherence and protect client trust.

You will develop and maintain security policies, perform audits, and serve as the go-to contact for client audit requests, while collaborating with internal teams to address risk and support business engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial industry.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and requirements.
• Proven client-facing experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP are a plus.

This role is critical in ensuring our company adheresto regulatory requirements and maintaints the trsut of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 27001 standards. Knowledge of SOC2 is beneficial.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance and certifications are maintained.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client audit requirements, requests for information, any compliance-related inquiries, new business engagements and maintaining security whitepapers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trends to senior management.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial industry.
