Purpose: The Information Security Lead will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the client's information and IT systems, applying expertise in sectors like energy, mining, chemicals, or process manufacturing to enhance security posture. Responsibilities include developing security strategies, leading initiatives, assessing vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, tailored to the soda and chemicals industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security strategies aligned with business goals and regulations.
• Lead creation and enforcement of security policies specific to the sectors.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Stay updated on security threats and regulatory changes.
• Design cybersecurity frameworks to protect operational systems and data.
• Oversee security for IT infrastructure, ICS, and OT systems.
• Manage Microsoft Office 365 security and compliance tools.
• Administer security software solutions like EDR and email security.
• Integrate security protocols across departments.
• Establish incident response protocols and lead investigations.
• Collaborate with external vendors and agencies on security incidents.
• Lead employee security awareness programs.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and internal policies.
• Oversee audits and internal security checks.
• Serve as the main contact for security matters, reporting to leadership.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s in Security, Cybersecurity, IT, or related.

• Experience with ICS and OT security.
