Job summary

Oliver Bernard, a leading FinTech in London, is hiring an Information Security Engineer on a hybrid basis. The role spans IAM, DevSecOps, and security across authentication systems, with emphasis on automation, monitoring, and incident response.

You’ll work with Kubernetes, MS Entra, SailPoint and PAM solutions, contributing to AI-driven security initiatives and resilient platform architectures for trading and market data applications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in information security engineering.
• Broad security skills across monitoring, incident response, and controls.
• Experience with authentication systems (LDAP/AD, Kubernetes, Entra).
• Experience with privileged access management (CyberArk).
• Experience with Identity Governance (SailPoint).
• Knowledge of AI and automation is a plus.

• Grow and maintain the InfoSec capabilities across the organization.
• Drive automation, monitoring and incident management in day-to-day IT operations.
• Contribute to secure application architectures and CI/CD pipelines.

Information Security Engineer - FinTech - £90K

Our client is one of the world’s leading FinTechs - They build cutting-edge trading platforms and market data applications used around the world by banks, hedge funds and trading firms.

In London, with flexible, hybrid working, they’re looking to grow their Information Security team.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across authentication and access management systems, IAM and DevSecOps, tools such as Kubernetes, MS Entra, SailPoint etc. and be involved in their drive to integrate AI and push automation – A very varied role!

The InfoSec team are growing and mission-critical to the company’s growth – You’ll be key in everything IT going forwards – Automation, application architecture, monitoring and reporting day to day support and incident management etc.

Requirements

• Proven experience of Information Security Engineering
• Broad security skills across monitoring, incident response, security controls, audit, incident resolution
• Strong experience with authentication systems (LDAP, MS Active Directory, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Entra etc)
• Experience with privileged access management solutions (PAM) (CyberArk etc)
• Experience with Identity Governance solutions (SailPoint etc)
• Knowledge of AI and automation would be ideal
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, Cloud security and CI/CD
• Excellent spoken and written English and communication skills
