Information Security Engineer – Southampton (3 Days a Week) - £50,000pa

One of the UK's leading providers of critical logistics infrastructure is seeking an experienced Information Security Systems Engineer to join their large-scale infrastructure environment.

This is a hands-on role focused on implementing, maintaining, and enhancing security systems across network, cloud, and endpoint environments.

You will work within a dedicated InfoSec team, closely collaborating with IT and operations, to identify risks, manage incidents, and support compliance across a complex estate.

Key Skills and Experience:

1. Strong IT infrastructure background with a security focus
2. Security certifications such as CISMP, GSEC, or equivalent
3. Experience with firewalls, encryption, antivirus, and vulnerability management
4. Familiarity with ISMS, NIS Regulations, GDPR (desirable)

The salary is dependent on experience and can go up to £50,000 per annum.

This role requires onsite presence at one of their offices in London, Southampton, Hull, Immingham, or Cardiff, three days per week.
