Information Security Engineer needed to join the team for a client based in Tower Bridge, London.

Onsite requirement: 5 days a week. MUST BE BASED IN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE TO TOWER BRIDGE IN LONDON

Must have a solid 5+ years of progressive IT-related work experience, including 3+ years in Information Security roles, with experience in patching and software packaging/distribution within the Financial sector.

You will be responsible for securing endpoints (desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, mobile devices) using proper security solutions and processes. The role includes administration of solutions used to deploy, monitor, and report on security updates for Operating Systems and third-party applications.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage Windows and Mac endpoint OS vulnerability remediation and patch management using SCCM and Intune.
• Deploy patches for third-party applications using Patch My PC.
• Upgrade non-compliant Windows and Mac OS versions.
• Package and deploy off-the-shelf and proprietary applications via SCCM and Intune.
• Ensure compliance with corporate initiatives, including IT support, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and risk management policies.
• Collaborate with security, application, and support teams on vulnerability remediation and software deployment issues.
• Maintain processes to ensure security agents are installed on all endpoints.
• Automate tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Adhere to monthly patch schedules and SLAs.
• Troubleshoot failed patch activities.

Key Skills Needed

• Experience and/or certifications in SCCM, Intune, JAMF, Patch My PC preferred.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management.
• Advanced reporting skills using SCCM, Intune, Crowdstrike, Power BI, and familiarity with ITSM systems like ServiceNow.
• Advanced scripting skills for packaging and deployment.
• Ability to prioritize, accept responsibility, and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
