Job summary

Flexjet is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our European team in Farnborough. The role focuses on investigating threats, strengthening controls, and supporting compliance across hybrid cloud environments for a global aviation group.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in CS, 1–3+ years in information security, and certification such as GCIH/GCFA/Security+. The position involves on-call duties and collaboration with the SOC and global security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Cyber Security certification(s) required.
• 1–3+ years of experience in Information Security.
• Experience with firewall reviews (Palo Alto/Cisco/Checkpoint/pfSense).
• Experience with SIEMs such as LogRhythm, Splunk, Azure Sentinel, AlienVault or Rapid7.
• Strong experience using Microsoft 365 suite (Endpoint Manager/InTune, Defender, Purview).
• Experience securing a hybrid infrastructure and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for incidents from our SOC.
• Recommend improvements to alerting and monitoring.
• Implement multi-layered defenses for on-prem and cloud resources.
• Gather evidence for audits and reviews.
• Improve monitoring for on-premises and cloud resources.
• Develop playbooks using EDR and other security tools.
• Investigate, respond, report and document security events.
• Consolidate data to produce accurate security metrics.
• Perform risk assessments on prospective IT vendors and components.
• Support risk management and compliance activities for European aviation operations.
• Participate in an on-call rota beyond normal hours.
