Job description

The Information Security Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's security framework, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Based in Hatfield, the role will require a proactive individual with a deep understanding of the Life Science industry and Information Security. It is a 12 months FTC role with the possibility to change to permanent depending on performance and business need.

Description
  1. Maintaining and continuously improving the company's information security framework.
  2. Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  3. Conducting regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential security threats.
  4. Developing risk remediation plans.
  5. Developing and implementing information security policies and procedures.
  6. Providing training and awareness programs to staff on information security matters.
  7. Reporting to senior management on security status and improvements.
  8. Collaborating with other departments to ensure security compliance across the board.
  9. Staying informed about latest security trends and regulations in the Life Science industry.

Profile

A successful Information Security Analyst should have:

  1. Related security certifications such as CISM, CRISC, CGEIT.
  2. Proven experience in information security management, governance and compliance.
  3. Global information security exposure.
  4. Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders up to board level.
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of information security standards and regulations - ISO27001, NIS2.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical staff.
